In an interview with ComicBook in 2022,director Sam Raimi said he would be interested in making a fourth Spider-Man movie with Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. In an interview, Raimi talked about making “Doctor Strange” and the many possibilities in the Marvel world, such as the possibility of characters working together. Raimi said he wasn’t sure if Marvel would be interested in such a project and that he hadn’t actively sought it. Still, he said he’d be happy to work with Maguire again, even if it wasn’t on a Spider-Man movie. This suggests he’d be willing to work with Maguire on a different project.
Since then: Marvel fans have been predicting for some time that Raimi and Maguire might be reuniting on a fourth film in the Spidey universe they created in 2002.

Sam Raimi has talked about the reports that he and Tobey Maguire will be in a fourth Spider-Man movie. Raimi said that he hasn’t heard anything official from Marvel or Columbia Pictures about such a project, even though fans and the internet have talked about it. There have also been problems with the recent release of “Madame Web,” a Spider-Man spin-off movie featuring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney. The movie did not do well at the box office, and both Johnson and Sweeney have pulled away from the project for different reasons. According to Johnson, the movie was very different from what she had expected. On the other hand, Sweeney said that her involvement was more of a business choice than a personal one.
